6K resolution

21.2 million pixels. Every detail in its place.

The Kuycon G32P has a 6K resolution of 6144 × 3456 pixels, or 21.2 million pixels. Across 31.5 viewable inches, that works out to 223 pixels per inch, a density close to that of Apple displays (218 ppi): text, photos and the macOS interface stay sharp, with no awkward scaling. At 32 inches, "6K" covers two resolutions: 6144 × 3456 for the G32P, 6016 × 3384 for the Pro Display XDR.

In HiDPI mode, macOS draws each point with four pixels: the workspace is equivalent to 3072 × 1728 points, versus 2560 × 1440 on a 27-inch 5K monitor. That is 44% more usable space.

Nano IPS Black panel

Deeper blacks. 2000:1 contrast.

The Kuycon G32P uses a Nano IPS Black panel, an IPS technology that doubles the contrast of a standard IPS panel, from around 1000:1 to 2000:1. Blacks look deeper and shadows keep their detail.

  • 500 nits Typical brightness
  • 2000:1 Static contrast
  • HDR10 Over HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C

Good to know: no local dimming and no DisplayHDR certification. For reference-grade HDR, a Mini-LED display goes further; the G32P is built for color accuracy.

Color

Over a billion colors. Factory calibrated.

The G32P displays 10 bits per channel, or 1.07 billion colors. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 space, the digital cinema gamut that shares its primaries with the Display P3 used by Macs, and 99% of sRGB, the color space of the web.

  • 10-bit 1.07 billion colors

Connectivity

6K USB-C monitor with 100 W charging. One cable for video, data and power.

On the G32P's USB-C port, a single cable carries the 6K picture at 60 Hz, charges your MacBook at up to 100 W and connects the monitor's two USB-C ports. For a PC or a console: one DisplayPort 2.1 and two HDMI 2.1 ports.

  • 2 × HDMI 2.1

    48 Gbit/s (FRL). 6K 60 Hz for a PC, 4K 60 Hz HDR for a console.

  • DisplayPort 2.1

    UHBR20 (80 Gbit/s), with DSC. 6K 60 Hz for a PC.

  • USB-C upstream

DisplayPort Alt Mode at 6K 60 Hz and USB Power Delivery charging up to 100 W.

  • 2 × USB-C downstream

    USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/s), 5 V 1 A: keyboard, mouse, USB flash drive.

  • 3.5 mm jack

Audio output for headphones or speakers.

  • Built-in power supply

100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz: one power cord, no external power brick.

The monitor's USB-C port is not a Thunderbolt port: it connects to the Thunderbolt 3, 4 or 5 and USB4 ports of Macs and PCs. For 100 W charging, use the included cable or a 5 A USB-C cable with an e-marker chip. On a PC, 6K at 60 Hz requires a DisplayPort 1.4 output with DSC, DisplayPort 2.1 or HDMI 2.1: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or RTX 20 series and newer, AMD Radeon RX 5000 series and newer, Intel Arc.

Mac compatibility

Which Macs run the G32P in 6K? Every Mac with an M-series chip.

According to Apple, every Apple Silicon Mac (M1 to M5 chips), including the Pro, Max and Ultra versions, drives a 6K external display at 60 Hz; on its most recent pages, Apple specifies 6144 × 3456, the exact resolution of the Kuycon G32P. What changes from one chip to the next is the port: Apple lists 6K over Thunderbolt (USB-C) for all of them, and over HDMI only from M4 chips onward. The one exception: MacBook Neo (A18 Pro chip) tops out at a 4K display at 60 Hz.

  • Intel Macs. 6K 60 Hz over Thunderbolt 3 on 2020 and later Macs with a 10th-generation Intel processor (integrated graphics); Macs with an AMD graphics card are not supported. No Apple source.

Design

Aluminum and glass. A perforated back that lets it breathe.

The chassis is machined from aluminum, then anodized. The perforated back is the only finish of the G32P, and cooling is passive: with no fan, the chassis itself dissipates the heat from the electronics. The power supply is built in: a single power cord, no external brick.

  • CNC-machined, anodized aluminum
  • Perforated back, the only finish available
  • Glossy glass with anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint coating, fully laminated
  • 25 mm thick, even bezels on all four sides

Comparison

An alternative to the Pro Display XDR? The G32P versus Apple displays, by the numbers.

Apple discontinued the Pro Display XDR on March 3, 2026. Since then, Apple no longer offers any display of its own in 6K or at 32 inches: its two models, the Studio Display and the Studio Display XDR, are 27-inch 5K displays. The Kuycon G32P takes up the format of the Pro Display XDR (32 inches, 6K, 60 Hz) with slightly more pixels (6144 × 3456 versus 6016 × 3384), but without its HDR: 500 nits and no local dimming.

Frequently asked questions

Which Macs run the G32P in 6K at 60 Hz?
According to Apple, Macs with M1 to M5 chips, including the Pro and Max versions, drive a 6K external display at 60 Hz through their Thunderbolt (USB-C) ports. Over HDMI, Apple only lists 6K from M4 chips onward (MacBook Pro and Mac mini). The manufacturer states that the G32P runs at 6K 60 Hz over a single cable on M1 to M4 Macs. MacBook Neo is limited to a 4K display at 60 Hz.
Can the G32P replace a Pro Display XDR?
For resolution, yes: 6144 × 3456 (223 ppi) versus 6016 × 3384 (218 ppi), at 32 inches and 60 Hz just like it. For HDR, no: the Pro Display XDR sustains 1000 nits and peaks at 1600 with 576 local dimming zones, while the G32P delivers 500 nits with no local dimming claimed. Apple discontinued the Pro Display XDR on March 3, 2026 and no longer offers any display of its own in 6K or at 32 inches.
Is one cable enough to connect a MacBook?
Yes. The included USB-C cable carries the 6K picture, up to 100 W of charging and the data for the monitor's two USB-C ports.
What ports does the G32P have?
One USB-C upstream port (video and 100 W charging), one DisplayPort 2.1, two HDMI 2.1, two USB-C downstream ports at USB 2.0 speed and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The power supply is built in.
Is the stand included?
No. The monitor comes with a 100 × 100 VESA adapter for an arm or a wall mount. You can add the fixed stand or the height-adjustable stand as an option when you buy.
Is the screen glossy or matte?
Glossy, with an anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint coating. The matte version in this format is the Kuycon G32X (6016 × 3384).
Does the G32P have speakers or a camera?
The manufacturer does not list speakers, a microphone or a camera. For sound, plug headphones or speakers into the monitor's 3.5 mm jack.
Is the monitor factory calibrated?
Yes, all color modes are pre-calibrated. The factory color report published for this model shows an average ΔE of 0.63 in Display P3 mode and an average ΔE 2000 of 1.08 in sRGB, measured with a Konica Minolta CA-410 and Calman. The default mode out of the box is cooler (around 6800 to 7000 K): for color-critical work, choose Display P3 or sRGB in the monitor's menu.
Does the G32P support HDR?
It is HDR10 compatible over HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C, without DisplayHDR certification or any claimed local dimming. It is designed for color accuracy rather than peak brightness.
Does the G32P go up to 120 Hz?
No. The G32P runs at 60 Hz at its 6K resolution (6144 × 3456), like the Pro Display XDR. If smooth motion matters more than 6K, the Kuycon P27Z (27-inch 5K) goes up to 165 Hz with a Mac with an M4 or M5 chip (60 Hz for now on MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and M5 Max over USB-C).
Can I connect a PC or a console?
Yes. A PC displays 6K at 60 Hz over DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 or USB-C. A PS4 Pro, PS5 or Xbox displays in 4K at 60 Hz HDR over HDMI. Compatible graphics cards: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and RTX 20 to 50, AMD Radeon RX 5000 and newer, Intel Arc (manufacturer's list).
Is my MacBook Pro with M5 Pro or M5 Max affected by the high refresh rate display bug?
Reports of this macOS bug involve displays set above 60 Hz. The G32P runs at 60 Hz: as far as we know, no cases have been reported at this refresh rate (October 2026).
Who sells the G32P and where does it ship from?
On this store, the G32P is sold by Reboot Global Corporation Limited (Hong Kong), an authorized Kuycon reseller worldwide. To an EU country, it ships from our EU warehouse when it is in stock, otherwise from the factory.
What warranty do I get, and will I pay taxes?
2-year warranty worldwide. Kuycon does not charge any taxes: at checkout, you choose DDP (import fees paid in advance, nothing to pay on arrival) or DAP (VAT and duties paid to the carrier on delivery), depending on the options available in your country.
How long does delivery take?
To an EU country, express delivery from our EU warehouse takes 48 to 96 h, subject to stock availability. Otherwise, the monitor ships from the factory: 5 to 10 business days by Air Express DAP, 10 to 20 business days by Air Express DDP, 30 to 40 business days by truck with DDP. You then have 14 days to change your mind.
