Delivery, VAT & returns to the United Kingdom
Kuycon ships monitors to the United Kingdom from our European operation, with prices displayed in pounds sterling and a choice of duty-paid or duty-unpaid delivery. Here is exactly what to expect on shipping, VAT, customs and returns.
Delivery options to the United Kingdom
Three shipping methods are available at checkout for UK addresses. The exact price is calculated on your basket and postcode.
- Air Express DAP - 5 to 10 business days. Full tracking. Customs duties and import VAT are not included and are payable by you when the parcel enters the UK.
- Air Express DDP - 10 to 20 business days. Partial tracking. Duties and import taxes are already paid: nothing further to pay on delivery.
- Truck DDP - 30 to 40 business days. Partial tracking. Duties and import taxes are already paid: nothing further to pay on delivery.
Orders placed before 4 pm (Paris time) are prepared and dispatched within 2 to 3 working days, Monday to Friday. Every monitor ships in reinforced anti-shock packaging with custom foam protection.
VAT and customs duties
The United Kingdom is outside the European Union, so every parcel clears UK customs. Which option you choose at checkout determines who settles the import charges:
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) - Kuycon pays UK import VAT and customs duties in advance. The amount is included in the price you pay at checkout and the courier will not ask you for anything on delivery.
- DAP (Delivered At Place) - the goods are invoiced without EU VAT, and UK import VAT and any duties are collected from you by the courier before the parcel is released.
Prices across the site are converted to pounds sterling automatically for UK visitors. You can switch currency at any time from the selector in the header.
Returns and right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from receipt to change your mind. The monitor must be unused, in its original condition, with the original packaging intact and all accessories included. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except where the product is faulty. Contact our support team before sending anything back so we can issue return instructions.
Warranty in the United Kingdom
Monitors delivered to a UK address are covered by our 12-month international warranty against material and manufacturing defects, from the date of purchase. Full terms, including our defective pixel policy, are on the warranty page, and you can check any unit at any time with its serial number on the coverage page.
