The LG UltraFine 5K was co-engineered with Apple and remains one of the few displays with a single Thunderbolt 3 cable that carries video, data and up to 94W of charging to a MacBook Pro at once — no separate power brick needed. For a minimalist, single-cable desk, that is still hard to beat, if you can find one.

The catch is availability: the UltraFine 5K is largely discontinued, so new units are scarce and resale prices have climbed well above its original launch price, often past €1,300.
